Jason Race is a financial management and business development professional who serves organizations that develop and manage affordable housing, such as Housing Authorities and private nonprofit corporations, by providing them with financial management, strategic development, and general management consulting services.
Jason actively works with Executive Directors of Housing Authorities and other Low Income Housing owners and operators to develop business strategies for future housing development, organizational restructuring, and compliance changes. Jason has experience with financial management of many affordable housing programs, including Public Housing, Section 8, Family Self-Sufficiency, Project Based Rental Assistance, & Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Jason helps his clients procure outside services and form strategic partnerships to streamline services, cut costs, and develop revenue streams.
Jason holds the following professional certifications: Public Housing Manager (PHM), Certified Manager of Maintenance (CMM), Tax Credit Compliance Manager (TCCM), Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS), Project-Based Voucher Specialist, and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP).
Jason also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rollins College and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois.
